Consortium Management

- Michael N. Mirolla is President and CEO of Aleksander Technology,
Inc. and Aleksander Group, Inc., a real estate investment and advisory
organization. Mr. Mirolla's background is entrepreneurial, owning
brokerage and principal real estate firms. In addition, he spent over
15 years as a senior director working for institutional real estate
organizations where he has represented clients such as General Electric
Investments, Met Life, Citibank, Travelers, Marine Midland, Embassy Suites
and Dai-Ichi Life (USA). Mr. Mirolla has been responsible for asset
values in excess of 3 billion dollars representing over 20 million square
feet. Areas of expertise include portfolio asset management, property
management, development, leasing, investment sales, financial evaluation,
project managements, portfolio evaluation and service desk software.
Mr. Mirolla was responsible for the development of a global service desk for
Citibank's worldwide facilities. He promoted from inception the
concept, developed the pilot, developed budgets, hired Java programmers,
trainers/testers, managed the internal coordination with Citibank global
business managers, managed legal documentation, held responsibility for the
rollout, call center and cultivated relationships with all outside vendors
(e.g. Sun). Since the program was developed in Java in September 1996,
many of the programming functions were developed in-house prior to industry
development. Additionally, this program was one of the first major
enterprise applications that utilized client server architecture and web
based platform. The program was successfully launched in the US in
June 1998. Separately, Mr. Mirolla was on the Y2K committee for
Citibank's Corporate Realty Services Division. Mr. Mirolla is a NYS
licensed real estate broker and approved Real Estate Instructor by the State
of NY. He has an MBA and was an Adjunct Professor at New York
University's Real Estate MS program.
- Robert S. DeMartino is CFO and COO of the Aleksander Group, Inc.,
and Executive Managing Director of Technology Design & Development at
Aleksander Technology, Inc. Mr. DeMartino spent thirty-eight (38)
years at Citicorp/Citibank in the Corporate Realty Services Division.
His responsibilities included asset management, financial control and
construction management for a portfolio of 8,000,000 square feet that
included Citicorp Center, 1.6M S.F. in NY; Court Square, 1.6M S.F. in NY;
One Sansome Street, 585,000 S.F. in San Francisco, and 399 Park Avenue, 1.6M
S.F. in NY. The total assets are valued at approximately $1.5
billion. Mr. DeMartino had overall responsibility for the development
and rollout of a global service desk that was developed in Java. His
responsibilities included the overall management of the product. He
reviewed and consolidated the existing processes of 30 nation-wide
independent service desks, that served 566 commercial buildings (including
270 branches), responding to 311,000 calls per month into one centralized
location. He developed and headed a committee of senior management
representatives from different regions both domestically and
internationally. He hired a technology department that reported
directly to him that included Java programmers, trainers, testers, and
senior project managers. He presented to senior Citibank management
monthly updates. Separately, he was responsible for the Citibank's
northeast division's technology/help desk department that included Y2K
compliance. He has a BS in accounting and Certification as a Real
Property Administer (RPA) from BOMA.
- Arlene Isaacs-Lowe is Managing Director of Membership Sales at
Aleksander Technology, Inc. Prior to Aleksander Technology, Ms.
Isaacs-Lowe was Vice President/Senior Analyst at Moody's Investor's where
she was responsible for the credit quality of a portfolio of 30
US/International REITs and REOCs. Prior to that she was a
Principal/Portfolio Manager at Equinox Realty Advisors, LLC, where she
created the business plan, established the firm's value enhancement
investment strategies, developed and implemented operating procedures and
negotiated venture capital partnership agreements. At Met Life, she
was portfolio Manager where she planned and implemented investment
strategies for $300M of real estate assets in three commingled funds.
Ms. Isaacs-Lowe has an MBA in finance, CPA and CFA.
- Robert G. Hoffman is Managing Director of Training and Client
Services at Aleksander Technology, Inc. Mr. Hoffman is responsible for
the development and implementation of both online and onsite training.
Prior to Aleksander Technology, Inc., he spent twenty-five (25) years as a
senior vice president with First Union Bank. He was responsible for
hiring and training the first sales/training force to be used by the bank in
consumer credit. The sales force covered five (5) states and trained
personnel in 360 branches. His other responsibilities during his
tenure with the bank included development of the company's first
computer-based loan decision system. Additionally, he was in charge of
compliance and product development where he developed and implemented the
first variable rate open ended loan products. Mr. Hoffman is a
graduate of the Consumer Banking Associations Graduate School of Retail Bank
Management at the U of Virginia, the American Management Associations'
Fundamentals of Sales Management, as well as many courses at IBM's System
Science Institute in NY.
- Harry "Ty" Simone is Managing Director of Information
Technology & Development at Aleksander Technology, Inc. Prior to
Aleksander Technology, Mr. Simone was Director of Information Services at
Onsite Sycom Energy Corporation, where he was responsible for the
evaluation, purchasing, development and implementation of all technology
based systems within the corporation, hiring and training of the IS staff,
and day-to-day maintenance of the corporate networks. His
accomplishments at Onsite Sycom include the complete integration of thirteen
offices nationwide into a corporate WAN, and the development and
implementation of the corporation's Internet based strategy. Mr.
Simone has also developed and implemented the corporation's intranet,
including a document database retrieval system, a contact management
database, and HTML based time and project tracking system used to bill
projects. Prior to Onsite Sycom, Mr. Simone was a consultant for CIBER
Inc. His responsibilities there included support and services for a
multitude of clients including Ingersoll Rand's corporate headquarters in
Woodcliff Lake, NJ. Mr. Simone is a Microsoft Certified Professional.
