Forty-Story Tower Planned for Seattle
SEATTLE, WA - A forty-story, 810,000 square foot office tower
located in the heart of downtown Seattle's financial district will be
opened in 2003, according to the Houston-based developer Hines.
The skyscraper will be built by Hines and California Public Employees
Retirement System, and will be owned by a partnership between the two,
National Office Partners Limited Partnership.
The building was designed by the Seattle architectural firm Zimmer
Gunsul Frasca and the Houston firm Kendall Heaton Associates.
It will feature a four-story retail and office base, and will be
anchored by the 324,000 square foot headquarters of IDX Systems
Corporation.
